Claude Desktop update hides scheduled Routines runs from the Code tab sidebar
verso76 · ghdev · 2026-10-16
Issue #102677 on anthropics/claude-code: after updating Claude Desktop (v2.42304.0, macOS), the Routines section disappeared from the Code tab sidebar, so scheduled task runs are no longer visible. The reporter runs 12 recurring tasks and now must open each routine's history one by one to check whether everything ran; failures and stuck runs go unnoticed. Run sessions still exist (not archived) — just hidden, so it looks like a regression. Suggested fixes: restore the sidebar section or add a toggle, a unified "recent runs" view across routines, and failure badges/notifications. A similar report (#60473) was closed as a duplicate with no workaround.
