Approved and mergeable for three days: Qwen Code contributor details permission walls for fork PRs
Eric-GoodBoy-Tech · ghdev · 2026-10-20
Issue #14911 on QwenLM/qwen-code describes a maintenance deadlock facing external contributors: PR #13882 (restoring per-group session isolation for the qqbot integration) has been approved by two maintainers — including a fourth-round real-environment verification by @wenshao with 2700 green assertions plus unit, static, and mutation testing — reports MERGEABLE against main, and has had no code changes for three days, yet no merge decision has come.
The author also enumerates what a fork author cannot do:
- Trigger @qwen-code /review or /triage (gated on write access; the resulting run is skipped)
- Request reviewers via the API (404 for fork authors)
- Enable auto-merge
- Get a green Test (ubuntu-latest, Node 22.x) lane: fork CI is capped at 60 minutes and this package's suites don't finish in time, so no qqbot-touching fork PR can ever show a green Test row
The author asks for a decision, not more review.
