Open-Source Tennis Models Plus Claude Turn Video Into a World-Class Coach

@nicochristie and @brainsandtennis chained several open-source models post-trained on tennis into a pipeline that:
- Tracks players, ball and court, and labels every stroke with its type and a 65-joint skeleton
- Post-processes the data into 30+ biomechanical traits for serves, forehands and backhands, normalized for each player's build and camera
- Hands the results to Claude for coaching-style interpretation
The authors say anyone with a camera and Claude can have a world-class tennis coach. The post quotes an OffPolicyInc thread on why AI hasn't revolutionized sports analytics, which turned 34 hours of video of 11 ATP pros into precise stroke measurements.
