noOS: the OS's only job will be handing flops to the agent, says Papailopoulos

ML researcher Dimitris Papailopoulos conjectures that within about a year we'll see agent-native operating systems whose main interface is a single mega app—dubbed noOS. Its one job: give the agent flops; the agent converts flops into whatever the user needs.
The trigger: Anthropic advertised slide/doc creation in the Claude app, and he found the underlying stack is essentially HTML with a Keynote-like thin layer that works remarkably well. More tellingly, the only apps he really uses now are Claude and Codex plus messaging—these effectively are the only things interacting with his OS, even though the file system, desktop, and traditional apps still exist.
