Theo tells devs not to buy his pricey AI course unless their employer pays
mattpocockuk · x · 2026-10-20
Theo clarified the pricing logic behind MEGA, his high-priced AI course for developers: the price is intentional because it targets employer budgets, and he urged individual devs not to go into debt for it. The course focuses on applying existing engineering skills to AI work, so it's of little use to non-full-time devs — free YouTube videos will help beginners more. Matt Pocock added his own business model: free content gets you the job, the job pays for the paid content.
