ThinkTerm: open-source Rust terminal built with Claude Code over 7 months, unifies agents across machines

A developer released ThinkTerm, a WezTerm-based, pure-Rust cross-platform terminal with a built-in multiplexer, built almost entirely with Claude Code over 7 months, GPL-3.0 open source on macOS/Linux/Windows. Features: a sidebar showing every agent session across machines (working, waiting, subagent status); first-class agent-to-agent messaging between Claude Code, Codex and Pi; sessions that survive quit/lid-close and resume from browser or phone; cross-machine copy/paste and file drag like one computer. Workflow lessons: keep AGENTS.md/Claude.md rules lean and lean on the memory system; skip UI frameworks—have Claude save frames as PNGs since it can't see the window; biggest lesson is make Claude log real numbers instead of guessing (it guessed a bug wrong five times before reading actual sizes).
