Early hands-on: M3.1-Flash impresses in multi-step agent workflows
Positive-Page1631 · reddit · 2026-10-20
A Reddit user shared early impressions of M3.1-Flash, a cheaper agent-oriented model. Compared to the earlier Space Bunny version, it handled real workflows noticeably better, and what stood out most wasn't speed but its ability to keep multi-step tasks moving with few human corrections.
Next he plans to stress-test its Computer Use capabilities: deliberately interrupting browser tasks mid-run with page changes, unexpected popups, or impossible steps to see whether the model recognizes the change and re-plans instead of blindly continuing. Still early testing, and he's soliciting comparisons from other users.
