sull · x · 2026-10-20
ASCII Magic released what it calls the largest collection of animated ASCII/Halftone/Dither art: 634 pieces across 24 categories (landscapes, cities, UI screens, charts, mascots, loaders, games), MIT licensed.
Key usage:
- Run npx ascii-magic-art to browse all pieces live in your terminal, press enter, and paste into your coding agent
- Restyle anything: halftone dots, real dither, ASCII, binary, letters, blocks, or custom characters
- Embed in 2 lines: one script tag + <ascii-art piece="matrix-rain">; works with React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, Astro, or self-host
- Export GIF/video and 4K wallpaper sizes for READMEs, slides, emails, and social headers
