Dev relaxes contribution rules: PRs welcome but never merged, human intro must be AI-free
lucasmeijer · x · 2026-10-20
Lucas Meijer published relaxed contribution guidelines for his AgentsInTheCloud repo: external PRs can be filed as illustrations but won't be merged — reviewing others' code is more work than reviewing his own agent's. New issue/PR templates require a "human description" section written personally without AI assistance, followed by a separate "AI details" section where AI-generated content is fine. The guidelines commit itself was co-authored with Claude Opus 5.5. A pragmatic take on open source in the agent era: embrace agentic coding, but insist humans hand-write the context.
