Hermo: open-source tool turns your ChatGPT tab into a callable API with MCP support
MKP_Nimilka · reddit · 2026-10-20
Developer released Hermo, a free open-source tool that turns repetitive browser tasks into APIs your apps can call:
- Connect your ChatGPT tab
- Record sending a message
- Make the prompt a changing input and select the reply as output
- Test and hit Publish API
You get an API key and endpoint — your app sends a prompt, Hermo executes it in your connected tab and returns the result. Free to self-host, runs locally, and supports MCP so AI agents can call your published workflows.
Early access; feedback requested. GitHub: PraveenNimilka/Hermo
