Cohestry: an Apple-native second brain that feeds curated, redacted context to AI agents via MCP
Emojinapp · reddit · 2026-10-20
A developer built Cohestry, an Apple-native "second brain" note app solving the problem of agent context scattered across markdowns. Architecture: a deterministic connection engine handles reliable note links, Apple Intelligence finds deeper connections, all visualized as a 3D brain. Example: while writing a PRD for a GTA-style game, it resurfaced a forgotten LLM life-sim game blueprint from a year ago.
An MCP bridge feeds the brain to agents: it redacts API keys and p8 keys before agents see anything, with context controls so agents get only what they need instead of hundreds of notes. Long-term vision: one persistent memory layer across Claude, Codex, Cursor and any agent, while notes stay in the Apple-native app.
