Stealth startup Physis debuts world foundation model play with PhysisServe, core tech headed to vLLM-Omni

New startup Physis launched, targeting a general-purpose world foundation model that accumulates and reuses experience across scenarios to understand, predict, and act — aimed at embodied AI, industrial simulation, and scientific prediction.
Alongside the debut, its infra team released PhysisServe, an autoregressive denoising serving system:
- Fine-grained stage pipelining, time-sharing, and multi-stream joint scheduling optimize both single-stream latency and multi-stream throughput in one system
- vLLM's official account confirmed the core techniques are coming to vLLM-Omni, with the teams working closely together
