Fo launches MCP to let AI agents control and sense physical devices, 100+ devs already building
heyshrutimishra · x · 2026-10-20
Fo introduced Fo MCP, a two-way bridge that lets AI agents act in the physical world: agents can nudge devices like lamps and vacuums, while devices can wake the agent up.
- Demo use cases: head-shake triggered lamp reminders, deep-clean commands to a vacuum, a CLI that calls you with updates
- Per the team, over 100 developers have already built on it, including a standout fall detector that autonomously calls an emergency contact
- The framing: agents are moving from waiting in chat windows to reacting to what's happening around them
