"Capable models don't imply productivity — they enable stupidity at superhuman scale"

Developer @generativist, quoting mattparlmer, argues that increasingly capable models do not necessarily imply more economic productivity—they can enable stupidity at superhuman scale and speed, losing enormous money. He says he now only trusts a small circle because the gap between what people asked for and what the agent did has become unmanageable for most. Simple SaaS/games surface obvious problems, but leaky, hard-to-detect work demands discipline most people lack.
