OpenAI released the first episode of Cooking with Codex, a ramen-cooking showcase of its coding agent:
- An OpenAI dot helps plan a ramen recipe and organize prep in ChatGPT Space, with GPT-Live guiding the cooking.
- Codex cloud environments keep tasks running even after the laptop is closed.
- New Codex CLI features include voice input, agent management, and forking conversations into separate worktrees.
- Guests Matthew and Brian from Forward Future build an 8-bit ramen game with Ultrafast and play it on a ModRetro, followed by community projects from a retro space shooter to a racing game with hand-drawn horses.
