Dev vibe-codes a polished HD-2D RPG with Opus 5.5, complete with a cage for the haters
FlawlessArc · reddit · 2026-10-20
A Reddit user shared an updated demo of an HD-2D RPG (pixel-art characters over 3D lit scenes) built entirely by vibe coding with Opus 5.5 and Astra. The game now shows quests, a minimap, skill bars and polished visuals. As a joke, the dev added an NPC caging the "vibe coding haters," whom villagers warn you to avoid. Another high-polish example of AI-assisted indie game development.
