Claude Motion animations now send straight to Descript for full video production
descript · x · 2026-10-20
Descript announced an integration with Claude Motion, Anthropic's beta tool for building animations and motion graphics inside Claude (available on Team and Enterprise plans).
The workflow is three steps:
- Type /motion in Claude and describe the graphic — an animated chart, title card, or explainer — then iterate;
- Pick Descript in Claude Motion's Send-to menu and connect your account;
- The animation lands in a new Descript project, ready for your voiceover, footage, screen recording, stock, and captions.
The pitch: Claude Motion makes the motion, but lacks your voice and footage — Descript fills that gap, turning animations into shareable explainer videos.
