Mist3r-Robot · reddit · 2026-10-20
Backlot is an open-source, MIT-licensed, Higgsfield-style AI video studio running MiniMax H3, Krea 2, and Qwen 2.1 via Comfy SDK on 16 GB cards (4070 Ti SUPER timings in README). Features: single-window UI without node graphs, text/image-to-video, reference mode for consistent people/products across shots, 360 orbit from one photo, latent chaining for long scenes, plus a stills side with identity edits, 96 camera angles, and SeedVR2 4K upscaling. Renders go through comfy-api-proxy, so one URL change points the same code at Comfy Cloud. Repo and 95-second demo available.
