Clairic debuts: a regression-based System 1 model, open weights coming soon
michellechen · x · 2026-10-20
Kevin Flansburg introduced Clairic, a novel "System 1" model based on regression instead of classification (unlike decision models like Clef). It estimates continuous values without exhaustively listing choices upfront and enables efficient extraction of structured data from unstructured inputs. Open weights coming soon.
