Runway Launches MCP to Generate Video Directly in ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Cursor

Runway released Runway MCP, bringing its image and video generation into the AI assistants people already use:
- Clients: ChatGPT (now in the official plugins directory), Claude, Grok Bot, Cursor, Replit and other MCP-compatible agents.
- Setup: Install from chatgpt.com/plugins, sign in with Runway, then mention @Runway in any chat to generate.
- Example workflows: Official examples cover product ads, animated stories and UGC — e.g. a full stovetop coffee commercial or a five-shot brand film generated from one product shot and a single prompt.
- Enterprises signing by 10/31 get two months of free usage.
