Wabi 2.0 launches: a collaborative personal agent built for group threads
joonasvirtanen · x · 2026-10-20
Eugenia Kuyda (Replika founder) announced that Wabi 2.0 is live. Positioning: today's personal agents are one person, one chat — but life's important stuff runs on multiple people. Wabi is a shared-thread agent that your partner, friends or preschool moms' group can all join.
Demo scenarios:
- School changes pickup time → Wabi updates the family calendar, visible to everyone.
- A show you'd both love → Wabi finds a night that works and books tickets.
- A group trip → Wabi picks dates, builds the itinerary and books it.
It also builds the small apps you need on demand. Industry figures like former Google design chief Joulee amplified the launch, calling it collaborative AI finally realized.
