Wabi 2.0 launches as a personal agent built for group threads, not solo chat

soleio · x · 2026-10-20

Wabi founder Eugene Kuyda announced Wabi 2.0, reframing the personal agent around multi-person threads rather than one-person chats. Users talk to the agent together, it executes tasks and builds apps on demand, and anyone — a partner, best friend, or preschool moms' group chat — can join the same thread.

Examples given: a school changes pickup time and Wabi updates the shared family calendar for everyone; it finds a night that works for two people and books tickets; it plans a group trip by picking dates, building the itinerary, and handling bookings. Early users report using it for collaborative creating, planning, teaching, and meme-making.
