WormaCeptor adds an MCP server so AI agents can inspect your running Android app

Version-Agreeable · reddit · 2026-10-20

The open-source Android debug toolkit WormaCeptor now ships an MCP server (44 tools) letting AI agents ask your running app what actually happened instead of guessing from source: read full request/response bodies, replay or export as curl; turn a real response into a mock rule to test error paths; read crashes with stack traces and tail logs; run SQL on the app's databases, read SharedPreferences and files; wait for a request or crash while you tap through; check CPU, memory and FPS. No more copy-pasting response bodies and stack traces into chat—the agent reads them itself and verifies fixes against the real app. It's debugImplementation-only (nothing in release builds), MIT licensed. Demo: Claude Code is asked why checkout fails, finds the failed POST, reads the 422 body, spots the wrong currency field and fixes it. Setup is one Gradle line plus claude mcp add for any MCP client.
