Wabi 2.0 launches: a personal agent built for shared multi-person threads
joonasvirtanen · x · 2026-10-20
Wabi founder Eugenia Kuyda announced Wabi 2.0, an agent designed to be used together: instead of one-person-one-chat, Wabi runs in shared group threads, does tasks, and builds the apps you need on the fly, with partners, friends or parent-group chats joining the same thread.
Official examples: a school pickup-time change → Wabi updates the family calendar for everyone; finding a night you both free → Wabi picks a date and books tickets; group trips → Wabi sets the itinerary and books it. The team keeps its "AI needs interfaces" thesis, now with a collaborative agent attached.
