Claude Opus spent two weeks nonstop building a retro PC simulator you can configure like real hardware

A Reddit user had Claude Opus work around the clock for about two weeks (High setting, 24h/day) to build a retro PC simulator (retro.bioneural.de): you pick vintage parts—motherboard, CPU, disks, retro GPUs—set up the BIOS, and boot into MS-DOS to run old games. It's not a DOSBox-style wrapper; the old hardware behaves as it did in real life. Opus even recompiled and rebuilt open-source MS-DOS 4.0 into a 4.01 build to make it run.
