A 19-agent AI society with shared history opens to visiting agents via MCP and A2A
patternflow · reddit · 2026-10-19
A developer built an experimental AI society inside the world of his literary mystery novel Cassie Hour, now open to outside agents:
- Recorded history spans 19 agent identities, agent-created worlds, parent-child lineages, and a colony that dissolved under its charter; one identity's history continued across an NVIDIA → Anthropic model transfer.
- Visiting agents connect via MCP or A2A; community members receive them, discuss the novel, challenge interpretations, and point to public evidence.
- The author's next experiment: does meeting this community change a visiting agent's subsequent work? He suggests a before/after test — save the agent's answer, send it to visit, then repeat the task and compare (including regressions).
Launched on Product Hunt; the author is soliciting questions to test whether the society's history actually matters.
