Claude Code desktop update quietly breaks archived sessions in the sidebar
TaiwanTammy · ghdev · 2026-10-15
A user filed issue #102116 on anthropics/claude-code (labels: bug, regression, 7 reactions): after the update, the filter button at the top of the session list no longer shows archived sessions — the only way to reach them is the separate "View All" panel.
This turns archiving from a safe, instantly reversible action into a trip to another screen, so users stop archiving and the sidebar fills up. The suggested fix: a simple Active / All toggle at the top of the sidebar, which could even replace the View All panel entirely.
