Redditor builds local "AgentOS" with approval gates, catches a job burning 197k tokens vs 29k

A Redditor shared a local "AgentOS" web dashboard built over weeks on Linux, designed to stop agents from quietly draining his $20 plans.
Architecture: three role-separated agents — Claire (assistant, files jobs only), Nana (builder, confined to one folder with snapshots and real diffs), Nene (researcher, web search + read-only). Nothing executes until the user approves it on a Jobs page.
Key finding: per-feature token switches and per-job usage stats revealed the same coding job cost 197k tokens on Gemini Flash vs 29k on Argon — both passed, so Argon is now default. He also caught Flash fabricating URLs during research, now a hard rule in Nene's instructions.
Extras include a mission board with XP levels to force real review, per-agent profiles with 7-day token history, an "Opportunity Checker" for debunking hype videos, and a spending tracker. He's asking for feedback on whether to open source it.
