Japanese dev's Background Gacha tool generates editable manga room scenes with GLB export
CurieuxExplorer · x · 2026-10-19
Japanese indie developer sharpmaker released two manga-creation tools. "School Gacha" generates a full school building with detailed interiors in one click, with per-room rerolls and fine-grained editing. "Background Gacha" creates 3D room backgrounds non-destructively on a grid system and links with the author's storyboard tool (Name Gacha) for direct panel use.
It renders in manga lineart/screentone styles, offers light direction and camera controls, and can export GLB files. The web tool is in beta, free to use, and supports multiple languages including Simplified Chinese.
