LeCun calculates Tesla's jet-powered Cybertruck demo gets ~5 seconds of thrust; Musk replies with a fart joke

Yann LeCun amplified Fred Lambert's critique of Elon Musk, pointing back to his own physics breakdown: the Cybertruck "jet propulsion" demo was just compressed air with a specific impulse under 50 seconds. Even assuming 50% of the car's mass were compressed air, useful thrust would last under 10 seconds — likely closer to 5. "Cute demo, but totally impractical." Musk's response was a Monty Python quip. Lambert also praised MKBHD's critical review as a needed pushback against tech's over-promise, under-deliver culture.
