After testing multiple MOSS-Image versions (25–50 steps, official and unofficial workflows), a user finds slightly better prompt adherence but poor image quality — lower IPR than SDXL and well below Z-Image, 'almost as disappointing as Flux.' Their quality-to-speed ranking, worst to best: Flux < MOSS Image < SD 1.5 < SDXL < Z-Image, with paid API-only Flux 2 Pro the lone exception. They even argue SD 1.5 with Dreambooth plus modern upscaling yields better results per hundred generations.
