Developer Angaisb shared a live training dashboard for PixelGen v6, a 49M-parameter pixel art painter trained from scratch with a frozen T5 reader on 407,988 sprites, running on a single RTX 5090 with updates every 10s (3,957 sprites/s). At step 5,000/100,000, training loss is 2.823 bits/px and validation 2.748, with pod cost so far just $0.24. Sample sheets show recognizable sprites for prompts like red apple, rusty iron longsword, treasure chests and potion bottles across two seeds.
