MicahBerkley won his third Miami hackathon in two weeks at the Devin developers hardware meetup, where teams had 3 hours to build an app on a Raspberry Pi.
Key details:
- Paired the Pi with an IR camera and used typesafeai's JEV decision model for image classification — his first real use of a decision model
- Built a store security tool letting businesses mark areas/items that shouldn't be moved
- Demoed detecting a NY sticker on his shirt from across the room ("New Yorker Alert Mode"), working flawlessly
