Indie dev prototyped a 'second brain' app on a trail walk; iOS version approved first try

A Redditor, frustrated by messy notes from his agents, prototyped a 'second brain' app on his phone using GPT Work during a trail walk — it compiled on the first try back in Xcode. After a month of iteration, Cohestry shipped on iOS (approved first try) and Mac: it auto-tags, connects and organizes notes, resurfaces forgotten ideas, offers an MCP bridge so agents pull only needed context without bloating their window, and features a 3D brain view for hopping between note nodes. It's local-first, built entirely on Apple APIs, notes never leave the device, with Apple Notes import and iCloud sync.
