Indie dev shares UI iteration workflow: three mock options for every visible change
SeanOliver · x · 2026-10-19
Developer Sean Oliver shares two first-hand product polish practices:
- Phone testing caught the first add-a-stop button problem: a small "+" between stops was too close to the next stop to tap reliably, so it became a full-width row under the open stop — every visible change should be tested on real devices.
- Workflow: every visible change now starts with three mock options to pick from, replacing single-proposal iterations to reduce rework.
