Kyunghyun Cho opens visual deep learning course site: neural nets to diffusion models
CSProfKGD · x · 2026-10-19
NYU professor Kyunghyun Cho has published the course site for EECS 6322, "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" — a visual and technical journey from neural networks and transformers to diffusion models and modern AI systems.
The course teaches through visual intuition, math foundations, and practical examples, requiring only Python, calculus, linear algebra, and basic ML. Goals include implementing models and reading contemporary research. Videos currently contain slide animations only, with full narrated lectures coming soon; textbooks and further-study resources are curated on the site.
