qwen-code Web Shell adds grouped physical deletion of session history messages
ytahdn · ghdev · 2026-10-15
A PR to qwen-code's Web Shell adds grouped message deletion. Previously users could only rewind (removing a suffix while retaining abandoned history), with no way to physically delete selected conversation turns.
The Delete action selects the current prompt plus its complete reply group, supports linked checkboxes and non-contiguous earlier groups, removes originals from JSONL and retained compression context, refreshes live model context and connected clients, and preserves existing summaries and slash-command display behavior across reloads and recovery.
Includes a detailed reviewer test plan covering edge cases like deleting the only group, compression checkpoints, stale snapshots and partially completed requests.
