Codex user burns 10,000 credits in an hour, switches to DeepSeek V4.1 Flash
DionysianAgent · x · 2026-10-18
User MageArez complains that the 10,000 credits he just bought for Codex were consumed within an hour. In reply, DionysianAgent recommends a zcode subscription plus the DeepSeek API for the newly released DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, claiming it performs on par with GPT-6.1 Sol (Medium), that "ChatGPT and Claude are a scam" on value, and plans to use it as his main coding model and eventually as a base model for training.
