Tacit: An Arch-Based Distro Built with Opus Goes Public
Snoo-10493 · reddit · 2026-10-18
A developer released Tacit, a free Arch/Hyprland-based Linux distro built with Opus, featuring its own desktop, apps, sandboxed app store, and a Chromium-based browser (Thyris) with uBlock Origin Lite. Updates install silently on reboot, no terminal needed. First release: tested in VMs only, needs UEFI with Secure Boot off; source is on GitHub and the author is asking for real-hardware testing feedback.
