Nimble Notes: a lightweight local note-taking companion app for vibe coding
Nimblecloud13 · reddit · 2026-10-18
Reddit user Nimblecloud13 released Nimble Notes, an open-source local companion app designed for vibe-coding workflows.
The tool lets you jot revisions while testing code and quickly save or copy them for pasting. You can link notes to your apps and launch files like .bat, .html, or .exe directly, plus pin windows to the desktop at custom sizes so they're always at hand.
It runs entirely locally and stays lightweight, aiming to fit into AI-assisted coding sessions where quick capture matters.
