ChatGPT as a personalized look-away guide: one user got horror movies back
Kassarola4 · reddit · 2026-10-18
A Reddit user shares a ChatGPT workflow they calibrated against movies they know they can and can't handle: before watching, ChatGPT identifies only the scenes crossing their personal line and gives spoiler-light visual cues for when to close their eyes plus audio cues for when it's safe to look again — even checking whether graphic scenes reappear in flashbacks, recaps, or monitor footage. It's worked well enough that they can now watch films they'd have skipped entirely. A reusable starter prompt is included.
