Investor Alex Banks argues AGI has arrived if you define it as "the output of a median knowledge worker."
He points to the blistering pace of frontier progress over the last 3 months across computer use, browser use, and cross-modal comprehension and generation. His blunt take: outside specialist work, he'd rather hand most tasks to Claude than to an average hire — while admitting the claim feels a bit dystopian.
