China doesn't need better AI—it needs to make American AI unprofitable, argues founder

A pointed thesis: China doesn't need to out-build America in AI, only to undercut it—replaying the steel, solar, and semiconductor playbook with cheap open-weight models already inside a third of corporations. With 40% of the S&P tied to the AI bet and recent GDP growth driven by AI capex, the whole US boom rests on companies paying premium prices; if enough CFOs choose the cheaper option in the same quarter, the boom becomes a recession. Technological advantage without defensible economics is just a head start with no finish line.
