EasyNav tests Summit robot navigating indoors-outdoors across building floors
facontidavide · x · 2026-10-17
The EasyNav team is preparing a bold experiment with a real Summit robot: it starts on one floor using AMCL, drives outside switching to GPS, descends a ramp, re-enters one floor below, and navigates right back under its starting point on AMCL again.
The demo showcases continuous navigation and map switching across mixed indoor/outdoor environments, built on their NavMap approach.
