erwincoumans · x · 2026-10-17
Renowned physics dev Erwin Coumans (PyBullet) dusted off his 2010–2012 CUDA physics engine, applied recent PGS/soft-step improvements (credit Erin Catto's Box3D), and used Claude in a single afternoon session to build TearUp — a demo that loads Teardown assets and tears them apart. A neat example of AI-assisted legacy code revival.
