Sol picks speed and lane targets frame-by-frame from onboard camera while racing
wzenus · x · 2026-10-17
In a racing game, Sol reads onboard camera frames and picks speed and lane targets frame by frame. Through autoresearch it learns to commit to a lane while overtaking, avoid switching lanes just because the road bends, and choose targets that remain useful after its reply arrives. Another environment from the Sooool project, where the agent acts as a real-time policy in a world that keeps moving while it thinks.
