Fixing Omarchy install on ASUS laptops when UEFI NVRAM is full, with Codex's help
GuyHachmon · x · 2026-10-17
Installing Omarchy on an ASUS B9400CEA, the author hit "No space left on device" errors as the laptop's UEFI/NVRAM rejected efibootmgr writes, aborting the installer at finalization. Workaround: patch the live installer to skip EFI registration, rerun it, then add the Limine bootloader manually in BIOS. It took 3 hours (with Codex's help) and the author suggests an official workaround is needed.
