fx v0.0.14 ships durable agents: same API survives crashes on laptop, cloud via Vercel
cramforce · x · 2026-10-17
Rauch Guha demos durability in libfx: the same createFxAgent() now runs durably on your laptop or in the cloud, backed by files, Postgres, or Vercel Workflows on Node.js or Bun.
The idea: agents need long-running compute but must tolerate restarts, redeploys, timeouts and crashes — if a process dies mid-tool-call, it resumes from there. On Vercel it reuses the durable workflows/queues infrastructure for one-line-of-code reliability.
Alongside, fx (a 6.66 MiB Zig-based open-source coding agent harness) releases v0.0.14: sessions survive crashes/redeploys, custom providers and local models, multiple agents per app, TypeScript types, Zig 0.17 port.
