Researcher builds generative machine vision pipeline reconstructing scenes from monocular video
RexDouglass · x · 2026-10-17
Applied scientist Rex Douglass says he has built a token-efficient generative pipeline that reconstructs static and dynamic scene elements from monocular video, calling generative models the "Holy Grail" of machine vision and a base for detection, robotics, and other downstream applications. His portfolio includes industrial digital doubles (Foreman2) and unsupervised auto-labeling of industrial videos.
