Snap Spectacles + Gemini 4 Argon demo designs LEGO builds from your brick pile
stspanho · x · 2026-10-16
A developer demoed an AR workflow on Snap Spectacles where Gemini 4 Argon photographs your LEGO DUPLO pile, counts the bricks, and designs a buildable figure using exactly those parts, then guides you step by step.
How it works:
- Photograph the pile; Argon designs one buildable model with step-by-step hologram instructions projected flat on the table
- Required bricks glow on the real pile; tap NEXT to advance; the hologram fades when done
Surprises: Argon could distinguish 2x2 from 2x4 bricks from a messy glasses photo, and the designs actually stand up. Built with CLAD, which lets the AI write code inside Lens Studio, run previews, screenshot results, and read logs to check its own work. Stack: Spectacles, Lens Studio 5.15 + CLAD, Gemini 4 Argon, small Node backend.
